We stayed in Discobolus for two nights, and it costs us AUD1530:

It's stated as an apartment/alpine cabins, which appear to be more like a double storey town house - very spacious!
However, one of the drawback of the apartments is, there are built on quite some slope - so some of the units required going thru stairs to reach, which is quite inconvenient for skiiers/snow boarders.
the apartment!
The entrance
There are 4 singles and 1 double bed, but you can fit more than 6 in the house - the two couches in the living room (and two beanies) are as comfy =p
double bedroom
bunk beds
seperate WC
shower with washing machine and dryer (detergent included)
that's all for upstairs
cosy living room downstairs
dining room
and fully equiped kitchen!
dish washing machine
oven
it is close to duck inn - the place for warm dinner and equipment rentals:
and close to village bus stop no. 2
some shots on what you can see from the apartment:
and, before checking out, make sure all rubbish are removed (reminds me of when i rented an apartment in nagoya, japan - it was even more difficult, since you can only dump different type of rubbish on different days)
rubbish shed
oh, and if you don't know, all accomodations in Mt buller can only be reached via 4WD taxi, so you'll have to leave your car mid hill for few days:
dont forget snow chain!
